What happens to your data

Read this before you launch This describes how the current build actually behaves. It is not a lawyer-drafted privacy policy and is not adequate for a product handling real customer data. Replace it before anyone outside your business uses this.

Where your work is stored today

Everything you create — business details, projects, estimates, measurements and any plans you open — is stored in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, because there is no server behind this build.

Business details, projects and estimates live in browser local storage.
Uploaded plans live in IndexedDB, on your machine only.
Clearing browser data deletes all of it, permanently and without a backup.
Nothing syncs between machines.

What we do not do

No server accounts, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no sharing with anyone — because none of it leaves the device.

What changes when you add a backend

Once plans and client information sit on a server, this needs rewriting by someone qualified: retention periods, breach notification, processor agreements with any hosting or AI provider, and the rights of the people named in your projects.
