What happens to your data
Read this before you launch
This describes how the current build actually behaves. It is not a lawyer-drafted privacy
policy and is not adequate for a product handling real customer data. Replace it before
anyone outside your business uses this.
Where your work is stored today
Everything you create — business details, projects, estimates, measurements and any plans you open — is stored in your own browser. Nothing is uploaded, because there is no server behind this build.
- Business details, projects and estimates live in browser local storage.
- Uploaded plans live in IndexedDB, on your machine only.
- Clearing browser data deletes all of it, permanently and without a backup.
- Nothing syncs between machines.
What we do not do
No server accounts, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and no sharing with anyone — because none of it leaves the device.
What changes when you add a backend
Once plans and client information sit on a server, this needs rewriting by someone qualified: retention periods, breach notification, processor agreements with any hosting or AI provider, and the rights of the people named in your projects.
